Custom Vibratory Control Integration for Specialty Sheet Piler

Foundation Equipment Services was trusted to complete a custom electrical control integration on a specialty sheet piling machine built on a unique excavator-based chassis. The machine utilized a piggyback power unit to operate the vibratory hammer, which was originally controlled through a pendant mounted inside the cab.

This setup required the operator to remove a hand from the joysticks during operation, creating both efficiency and safety concerns. FES quickly engineered a custom solution allowing the vibrator functions to be fully integrated into the machine joysticks, giving the operator complete control without removing their hands from the controls.

Within only a matter of days, our team developed the control strategy, completed the installation, and finalized testing, minimizing downtime while significantly improving operator safety, comfort, and overall machine efficiency.
